Fun Events for Kids this NOVEMBER

    SCHOOLS OUT “PLAY-IN-A-DAY” WORKSHOP – Entertainment, Educational
    November 6th, 7th, and 22nd.
    Kids ages 5-12 are invited to participate in a full day of activities including theatre games, improvisation, dance, crafts, and a tour of the historic Landers Theatre. They will also tackle a script that they will perform at the end of the day at an informal showing for parents and friends!

    Z.E.B.R.A. CLASSES AT DICKERSON PARK ZOO – Educational

    Open for tots to teens, these classes encourage curiosity, appreciation and wonder with up-close animal encounters, hands-on activities and experiences, crafts, stories and games.

    NATURE ART: HOME SWEET OZARKS – Educational
    November 3rd at 7:00 pm at Springfield Conservation Nature Center.
    Enjoy a video presentation of wildlife and native Ozarks imagery by photographer Jim Mayfield. The presentation will be accompanied by melodious recorded music from piano virtuoso Tom Becker.

    A NIGHT AT THE LIBRARY – Entertainment
    November 17th, 5:30-7:00 pm, Schweitzer Brentwood Branch
    Come see what the library is like after hours and join for a library scavenger hunt and a fort-building contest after the library closes. Kids and families can join forces to solve, find and create their way through a mysterious adventure. Fort-building materials and a snack will be provided.
